Coins & Silver Bullion Auction (14% Buyers Commission)
A collection of UK 50 pence coins from the Royal Mint Beatrix Potter commemorative series. The group includes coins featuring the Flopsy Bunny, Peter Rabbit, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, and The Tailor of Gloucester reverse designs. Each heptagonal coin is struck in cupro-nickel and presented in an individual blue Change Checker protective card mount. Two of the mounts include holographic security labels stating Brilliant Uncirculated United Kingdom. The obverses, though not visible, would depict the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued, exhibiting high lustre with no visible signs of wear or contact marks. The blue card mounts show minor surface scuffing and light wear to the edges consistent with storage.
