A hammered copper alloy or billon coin from the Kievan Rus’ period, attributed to the reign of Vladimir the Great (c. 980–1015 AD). The obverse features a central Rurikid Tryzub symbol surrounded by Old Church Slavonic script. The reverse displays a seated ruler type. This irregular specimen shows typical features of early medieval hammered coinage from the Rurikid dynasty. Presented in a green velvet-lined case accompanied by a small length of coiled silver-toned wire.

Condition report:
Fine condition. The piece exhibits a dark, uneven patina with visible surface deposits and spots of green verdigris. Edges are irregular and ragged as struck.
