The reverse features Benedetto Pistrucci’s classic design of St George and the Dragon with the date 1951 in the exergue. The obverse features the bare head of King George VI facing left. The coin is housed in its original maroon presentation box with gold-foil block lettering on the lid reading FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN above the Royal Mint emblem and the date 1951. An original printed paper informational slip is included. KM# 880.

Condition report:
The coin is in uncirculated condition, exhibiting substantial original mint lustre and minor surface contact marks. The original presentation box shows wear, including scuffing and fraying along the edges and corners. The paper informational slip is present with light age-related toning.
