A set of nine United Kingdom coins issued in 1953 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, presented in a clear plastic multi-pocket sleeve. The collection includes a cupro-nickel Half Crown, Two Shillings (Florin), two Shillings (comprising both English and Scottish types), and a Sixpence; a dodecagonal nickel-brass Threepence; and a bronze Penny, Halfpenny, and Farthing. The obverses feature the laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Mary Gillick with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRA:BRITT:OMN:REGINA F:D:. Notable reverse designs include the crowned royal shield on the Half Crown, a floral cross of national emblems on the Florin, a lion atop a crown on the English Shilling, and a wren on the Farthing. The plastic holder includes printed text identifying the coinage designers, including Mary Gillick, William Gardner, and others.

Condition report:

The coins are in uncirculated condition, retaining much of their original mint lustre. The bronze denominations (Penny, Halfpenny, and Farthing) exhibit characteristic reddish and brown toning. The plastic sleeve shows minor age-related wear, including light scuffing and creasing.
