The set contains denominations circulating at the time of issue, all dated 1953, including a Crown featuring the four shields of the United Kingdom, a Half Crown, a Florin, One Shilling pieces representing the English and Scottish designs, a Sixpence, a brass Three Pence, a Penny, a Half Penny, and a Farthing. The coins are struck to proof quality. The silver-coloured denominations are composed of cupro-nickel, while the lower denominations are struck in bronze and nickel-brass.

Condition report:

The coins exhibit varying degrees of surface toning and natural patina, which is particularly visible on the bronze denominations and the larger cupro-nickel pieces. The presentation case shows minor signs of age-related wear and light scuffing to the exterior surfaces. The interior velvet lining remains intact with expected indentations from the coins.
