A large gold-plated base metal commemorative medallion issued for the coronation of King Charles III, attributed to the Windsor Mint. The obverse features a central Royal Cypher design within a geometric border and the legend CHARLES III · KING OF THE UNITED KINGDOM · DEI GRATIA REX. The reverse features a King Charles III portrait design set against Westminster Abbey with the inscriptions LONG LIVE THE KING, CORONATION 6 MAY 2023, and KING CHARLES III. The design includes a crown motif inset with a red faceted synthetic stone. The medallion is presented alongside a 2015 UK bi-metallic two pound coin, History of Technological Achievement type, featuring the edge inscription ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS.

Condition report:
Medallion in uncirculated, proof-like condition, housed in a clear protective acrylic capsule showing light exterior scuffing. The two pound coin is in circulated condition with visible surface wear and contact marks.
