The reverse design, by Royal Mint engravers Glyn Davies and Laura Clancy, depicts Buckingham Palace as seen from the Victoria Memorial. The obverse features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. The coin is housed in its original Royal Mint illustrated card packaging and remains sealed in a thin protective plastic sleeve. This issue was part of the Royal Mint series released at face value.
