A commemorative UK 2003 cupro-nickel 50 pence coin, issued to mark the centenary of the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU). The reverse features the WSPU centenary design by Mary Milner Dickens, and the obverse bears the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The coin is housed in its original Royal Mint Brilliant Uncirculated presentation folder, which includes historical information and a reproduction of a suffragette postcard.
Condition report:
The coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition, retaining original mint lustre. The presentation folder remains in good condition with minor handling wear to the corners and edges.
