The obverse features the manufacturer’s signature crowned lion head logo positioned centrally against a radial sunburst pattern, enclosed by a wide, indented decorative rim. The reverse is inscribed with the text SCOTTSDALE MINT along the top edge and features a large central 1/2 over OUNCE. The bottom perimeter is marked ONE HALF OF A TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER. The piece is finished with reeded edges.
