A 1/2 troy ounce silver bullion round produced by the Scottsdale Mint. The round is struck in .999 fine silver. The obverse features the manufacturer’s signature crowned lion head logo positioned centrally against a radial sunburst pattern, enclosed by a wide, indented decorative rim. The reverse is inscribed with the text SCOTTSDALE MINT along the top edge and features a large central 1/2 over OUNCE. The bottom perimeter is marked ONE HALF OF A TROY OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER. The piece is finished with reeded edges.
