A 2014 United Kingdom £20 fine silver commemorative coin issued by The Royal Mint in partnership with the Imperial War Museums. The coin was struck to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War. The obverse features the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS, with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D TWENTY POUNDS. The reverse, designed by John Bergdahl, depicts Britannia watching over a naval fleet with the inscriptions THE FIRST WORLD WAR 1914-1918 and the date 2014. The coin is housed in its original illustrated card presentation pack, which remains sealed in the manufacturer’s protective plastic film.
