The coin is struck in .999 fine silver and is presented in the original illustrated card display folder, which remains sealed within its clear plastic wrapper. The reverse features the Big Ben design by Glyn Davies and Laura Clancy, while the obverse features the fourth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. This coin was the first £100 face-value silver coin issued by the Royal Mint.
