An Australian silver bullion coin issued by the Perth Mint as part of The Australian Kookaburra series, dated 1997. The reverse depicts two kookaburras perched on a branch, one looking upward with an open beak, surrounded by the literal transcription THE AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA 2 OZ. 999 SILVER 1997 punctuated by a beaded border. The coin is composed of two troy ounces of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin exhibits a high-lustre, proof-like finish and is presented in its original green velvet-lined clamshell case, the inner lid of which is stamped in gold with the Perth Mint swan logo and name.

Condition report:
Uncirculated condition. The coin exhibits full original mint lustre with no visible signs of wear, toning, or handling marks. The original presentation case is in good condition with only minor shelf wear to the exterior.
