A collection of air rifle target practice equipment featuring a knockdown-style silhouette field target, a pellet trap, and paper target cards. The field target is constructed from heavy-gauge sheet metal in the shape of a rat, finished with a grey hammered-effect coating. It includes a circular kill zone aperture with a yellow-painted metal disc and a reset lever mechanism with a secondary yellow disc. The entire unit is mounted on a square-section metal stake. The pellet trap consists of a black-painted metal funnel designed to safely catch spent pellets, featuring a wire-retaining frame on the front for holding square target cards. The collection includes a pack of paper shooting targets branded Bisley Country Products and distributed by John Rothery (Wholesale) Co. Ltd. These cards feature both single-bullseye and triple-bullseye configurations with concentric scoring rings.
Condition report:
The items are in a used but functional condition. The metal field target and pellet trap show visible surface wear, including paint loss and areas of light oxidation consistent with outdoor use and impact from pellets. The Bisley paper targets appear largely unused and remain in good condition.
