A collection of six pieces of vintage jewellery comprising four stick pins and two brooches. The stick pins include a teardrop-shaped head decorated with a butterfly and floral motif in polychrome enamel against a black ground; a stylised scroll or bird head with blue, white, and red enamel; an ornate mythical creature within a pierced and textured gold-tone border on a twisted shaft; and a small square pin with the initial S on a blue enamel ground. The brooches consist of a textured gold-tone ribbon bow, fitted with a bail and suspended from a gold-tone flat-link chain, and a bar brooch. The bar brooch features a central circular dark green gemstone in a rub-over setting, flanked by two silver-tone bow-shaped accents set with small colourless stones. The pieces are constructed from gold-tone base metal and do not display any visible hallmarks or maker’s marks.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good vintage condition with surface wear commensurate with age. The enamel work on the stick pins appears largely intact. There is one small colourless stone missing from the right-hand wing of the bar brooch. The pin and clasp mechanisms are in functional condition.
