A set of silver-plated metal liqueur or cordial goblets. Each vessel features a flared bowl decorated with hand-engraved floral and foliate motifs surrounding a central vacant circular cartouche. The bowls are supported by slender stems with a central knop, terminating in stepped circular feet. The set is presented in its original rectangular case, which is lined with royal blue velvet and padded silk. The exterior of the case is finished in a dark textured material with metal hinge hardware. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The goblets show surface tarnish and light wear consistent with age and use. No significant damage or repairs are noted. The presentation case shows external scuffing and wear to the edges and corners, though the interior remains in good order.
