Other transport examples include a Scottish Railway Company button with a lion and crown motif and a white metal button for the Southern Railway. One button carries the reverse mark of Gaunt London, and a separate group is contained in a bag labelled Pitt & Co London. The items are fashioned from brass, white metal, and other silver-toned alloys.

Condition report:

Items are in mixed condition consistent with age and use. There is visible surface oxidation, patina, and light scratching throughout. Some buttons, particularly those in the bag, show heavier tarnish. Wear is present on the raised embossed details of several pieces.
