This collection consists of multiple N gauge (1:160 scale) static model locomotives, attributed to the Del Prado Locomotives of the World series. The models are manufactured from die-cast metal and plastic components. Included is an LMS Duchess class steam locomotive finished in crimson lake livery, mounted on a wooden display plinth and housed in its original polystyrene and card packaging bearing label 3 904 002. Also present is an ALCO PA-1 diesel locomotive in New York Central livery, a DB BR 103.1 electric locomotive in TEE cream and maroon livery, and a Santa Fe diesel locomotive numbered 5008 (notably housed in a blister pack with a base plate mislabelled as BB 22200 SNCF). The group further includes an Australian National Class 2150 Co-Co locomotive, a green and white Japanese Shinkansen high-speed train, a German V 100 type diesel in red, and a selection of other international steam and diesel locomotives. Most models are secured to display tracks or contained within their original clear plastic blister packaging.
Condition report:
The models generally appear to be in good, unused condition. The LMS Duchess box shows minor signs of shelf wear. Several of the clear plastic blister packs exhibit minor crushing, cracking, or surface wear consistent with storage. The Santa Fe locomotive is mounted on a mislabelled base.
