This vintage glassware set consists of one large beverage pitcher and ten matching stemmed glasses. Each piece is crafted from clear glass and is decorated with a wide gilded band at the rim. Immediately below the gold rim is a narrower acid-etched border featuring a repeating geometric guilloche or scrolling pattern. The pitcher features a matching gilded rim and a wide decorative band around its mid-section, echoing the pattern on the glasses. It is designed with an applied clear glass handle and a rounded body. The glasses have short, plain stems and simple circular bases. No manufacturer’s marks, etched signatures, or labels were observed on any of the pieces. The style is consistent with mid-20th-century European production, possibly of British or Bohemian origin.
Condition report:
The set is in good overall condition. The gilding is largely intact and retains a bright finish, with only minor signs of thinning or surface wear consistent with age. The glass shows no significant chips, cracks, or clouding.
