The specimen is presented in its original Royal Mint card folder. The reverse displays the Technology design by Bruce Rushin, featuring concentric patterns of cogs and circuitry. The reverse is inscribed TWO POUNDS and 1997, referencing the inaugural year of the bimetallic two-pound coin. The coin is constructed with a nickel-brass outer ring and a cupro-nickel centre. The folder is titled Celebrating 25 Years of the £2 / 2022 UK £2 BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED COIN and bears the official logo of The Royal Mint.
