Buyer's Premium:

A collection of UK proof coins issued by the Royal Mint in 1971 to commemorate the transition to decimal currency. The group consists of six denominations: cupro-nickel 50 new pence, 10 new pence, and 5 new pence, alongside bronze 2 new pence, 1 new penny, and 1/2 new penny coins. The set also includes a rectangular bronze-coloured commemorative medallion featuring the royal coat of arms and the Royal Mint inscription. The coins feature the reverse designs of Christopher Ironside. The collection is housed in its original black presentation folder with white dot pattern lettering, containing a clear plastic inner display case with a black insert.

Condition report:

Proof condition. The coins exhibit high-lustre mirrored fields and sharp strikes. There is no evidence of circulation wear or significant toning. The original black presentation folder and inner plastic case show minor signs of handling and surface scuffing consistent with age.
