The group includes coins from the reigns of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II. The George VI section features the bare-headed portrait obverse and the crowned royal monogram reverse, with legends documenting the removal of the Emperor of India title after 1948. The Elizabeth II section includes the 1953 Type I variety and the Type II issues spanning 1954 to 1962, featuring the Mary Gillick laureate head obverse and a floral reverse. Condition report:
The blue card folder shows minor shelf wear and light scuffing to the edges. The coins are in circulated condition, generally appearing fine to very fine. Visible wear is present on the higher points of the relief, such as the hair and crowns, with typical surface contact marks and natural toning consistent with age and use.
