A 1951 UK commemorative crown (five shillings) struck in cupro-nickel. The coin features the Pistrucci Saint George and the Dragon reverse and is presented in its original maroon pebble-textured Royal Mint box. The inner lid is gold-blocked with the Royal Coat of Arms and the text FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN 1951 ROYAL MINT. The original printed paper insert is included. This issue was produced to mark the 1951 Festival of Britain.
Condition report:
The coin is in uncirculated condition with original bright lustre. The presentation box displays light shelf wear and minor scuffing to the exterior edges and corners.
