United Kingdom commemorative five-pound coin struck by the Royal Mint in 1999 as a memorial to Diana, Princess of Wales. The coin is presented in its original Royal Mint pictorial presentation folder. The interior of the folder features a photographic portrait of the Princess and a tribute quote from Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse of the coin displays the fourth definitive portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the legend reading ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1999. The coin is mounted within a circular aperture in the folder. The exterior of the packaging is decorated with a stylised rose graphic and gold-coloured text.
Condition report:
The coin remains in brilliant uncirculated condition as issued by the mint. The presentation folder shows minor signs of handling and light wear to the edges.
