A collection of United Kingdom coins struck by the Royal Mint for The Great British 1983 Coin Collection, presented in the original blue card folder. The set includes multiple denominations: a nickel-brass one pound coin, cupro-nickel fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, and five pence coins, and bronze two pence, one penny, and half penny coins. The reverse designs include the Royal Coat of Arms on the inaugural 1983 pound coin, Britannia on the fifty pence, the crowned Tudor rose on the twenty pence, a lion passant guardant on the ten pence, a crowned thistle on the five pence, the Prince of Wales feathers on the two pence, a crowned portcullis on the one penny, and a crown on the half penny. The two pence coin features the standard ‘TWO PENCE’ inscription. The folder contains an educational section titled Making coins at the Royal Mint and is illustrated with a photograph of the White Tower at the Tower of London on the exterior.

The coins are in uncirculated condition as issued, showing no visible signs of wear or circulation. The card presentation folder exhibits minor edge wear and light handling marks consistent with age and storage.
