The reverse features a portrait of Lord Beaverbrook accompanied by blueprints of a Spitfire aircraft, with inscriptions including LORD BEAVERBROOK, 1940, 2015, and SAUCEPANS FOR SPITFIRES. The obverse, as detailed on the accompanying certificate, depicts the Royal Air Force crest centred over a frosted 75 background with the Latin legend PER ARDUA AD ASTRA and the inscriptions BATTLE OF BRITAIN 75TH ANNIVERSARY and the dates 1940 and 2015.
