A Royal Mint presentation set comprising a pair of United Kingdom £2 coins struck in nickel-brass. This set commemorates the tercentenary of the Bill of Rights and the Claim of Right. The coins are housed in the original pictorial card folder which provides a historical narrative of the 1688 revolution. One coin reverse features the inscription TERCENTENARY OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS and the dates 1689 and 1989 with a crown and mace cipher. The second coin reverse features the inscription TERCENTENARY OF THE CLAIM OF RIGHT with the same dates and a similar cipher.
