A 2016 United Kingdom £20 fine silver commemorative coin issued by The Royal Mint to mark the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark, accompanied by the legend ELIZABETH II · D · G · REG · F · D, the denomination 20 POUNDS, and the date 2016. The reverse, designed by Christopher Hobbs, displays the royal cypher EIIR and the numeral 90 encircled by a wreath of heraldic roses. Struck in .999 fine silver, the coin is housed in its original Royal Mint illustrative presentation folder and remains sealed within the manufacturer’s original protective plastic sleeve. This issue commemorates the first time a British monarch reached the age of 90.
