Buyer's Premium:

A Yashica Minister-D 35mm rangefinder camera, manufactured in Japan during the 1960s. The camera is equipped with a Yashinon 4.5cm f/2.8 lens and a Citizen-MVL leaf shutter with speeds ranging from 1 second to 1/500th second, plus a Bulb setting. It features a coupled exposure meter system utilizing a Light Value scale, with a numerical range from 5 to 17 visible on the top plate. The body is constructed from die-cast metal with chrome-finished top and bottom plates and a black textured leatherette covering. The top plate is engraved with the maker name YASHICA and the serial number H 120906. The front plate is marked minister-D and YASHICA. Included accessories consist of an original Yashica push-on lens cap, a vintage black leather ever-ready case with a carrying strap, and a Pentax branded screw-in filter currently attached to the lens.

Condition report:

The camera displays signs of moderate cosmetic wear consistent with age, including light surface scratching and minor pitting to the chrome-plated components. The black leatherette covering remains well-adhered and largely intact. Viewed through the attached filter, the front lens element appears relatively clear, though internal elements have not been inspected for haze or fungus. The shutter release and film advance lever appear to be intact; however, the camera has not been film-tested, and the accuracy of the shutter speeds and light meter system is unknown. The leather ever-ready case shows significant signs of age and wear, including heavy scuffing, cracking to the leather surface, and loss of finish, particularly on the protruding front section.
