A collection of coin first day covers from the series titled The Royal Family: Monarchs of the 20th Century Coin Cover Set, published by Westminster. Each cover features a single Isle of Man postage stamp with a 26p denomination, depicting a portrait of a 20th-century British monarch, including Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, King George V, King Edward VIII, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. The stamps are perforated and bear circular first day of issue cancellations from Douglas, Isle of Man, dated 2 June 1999. Each cover is presented on an informative card containing historical biographical text and houses a corresponding commemorative crown coin. The coins are inscribed with the House of Windsor and the respective monarch’s name and dates of reign, such as House of Windsor King George VI 1936-1952 1 Crown. Condition report:
Stamps are very fine and well-centred with clean first day cancellations. Perforations are intact. The commemorative coins are bright and appear in uncirculated condition within their protective clear plastic housings. The informative cards and the green binder show minimal signs of handling and are well-preserved.
