The stone displays distinct horizontal colour zoning, graduating from a translucent amber-yellow to a deep purple, characteristic of ametrine quartz. The gemstone is secured in a polished bezel setting with a closed back, mounted on a plain rounded band. The interior of the band is stamped 925, indicating 925 silver, alongside a maker mark depicting an infinity symbol.
