This 2022 legal tender silver coin from Samoa is struck in the specific shape of a Batarang, the signature weapon of the DC Comics character Batman. The obverse features a circular centre medallion depicting the Coat of Arms of Samoa with the motto FA’AVAE I LE ATUA SAMOA. Inscriptions around the medallion include SAMOA, 5 DOLLARS, and the date 2022. The silver fineness and weight are marked as Ag 999 1 oz. A small copyright and trademark notice, © & ™ WBEI. (S22), is present on the right-hand wing of the strike. The piece has a mirror-like finish.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The surfaces show numerous fine hairlines and light scuffing consistent with contact wear and handling. No evidence of cleaning or harsh abrasions.
