This collection of UK silver bullion coins originates from The Royal Mint series “The Queen’s Beasts”. Each coin is struck in .9999 fine silver and carries a face value of 5 Pounds. The obverse features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. The reverse designs depict various heraldic beasts including the Lion of England, Red Dragon of Wales, Griffin of Edward III, Unicorn of Scotland, Black Bull of Clarence, Falcon of the Plantagenets, Yale of Beaufort, White Lion of Mortimer, White Horse of Hanover, and White Greyhound of Richmond. Also included is a central completer coin featuring the heraldic beasts in a circular design surrounding the royal effigy. Each coin is housed in an individual acrylic capsule and presented in a black, velvet-lined display box with the interior lid inscribed QUEEN’S BEASTS 2 oz. SILVER COINS. Visible dates on the reverses include 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition, exhibiting high silver lustre and no evidence of handling or wear. They remain protected within clear acrylic capsules. The presentation case is in good condition.
