A 2021 United Kingdom two pound coin issued by the Royal Mint to commemorate author H.G. Wells. This bimetallic coin is composed of a cupro-nickel centre and a nickel-brass outer ring. It is presented in its original dark blue card folder as a Brilliant Uncirculated issue, featuring a holographic security seal that reads CERTIFIED BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED UNITED KINGDOM. The reverse features the H.G. Wells commemorative design by Chris Costello and carries the inscription 2021 H.G. WELLS. The obverse features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. This issue was struck to mark the 75th anniversary of the author’s death.

Condition report:
Brilliant uncirculated. The coin exhibits full original mint lustre and shows no signs of wear or handling. The original card packaging and holographic seal remain in excellent condition.
