A silver plated base metal commemorative medal from the series titled The Greatest Britons. The obverse features a seated portrait of Sir Winston Churchill positioned in front of a partially colourised Union Jack flag, with the circumferential inscriptions SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL 1874-1965 and PRIME MINISTER. The reverse design is centered on a St George’s Cross, with the four quadrants containing the heraldic symbols of the United Kingdom: the Three Lions of England, the Lion Rampant of Scotland, the Harp of Ireland, and the Dragon of Wales. A central horizontal band is inscribed THE GREATEST BRITONS. Small marks are present in the lower right quadrant of the reverse but are not clearly legible. The piece displays a proof-like finish with mirrored fields and frosted relief, presented within a clear plastic protective capsule.
Condition report:
Uncirculated. The medal is well-preserved within its capsule with no visible signs of wear or handling.
