A collection of United Kingdom cupro-nickel 50p commemorative coins from the Beatrix Potter series, each housed in Change Checker branded dark blue presentation cards. The series features various reverse designs celebrating the 150th anniversary of the author’s birth and her characters. The designs include Squirrel Nutkin, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, Mrs. Tittlemouse, multiple different depictions of Peter Rabbit, and a portrait commemorative coin for Beatrix Potter (1866–1943). The coins are struck to a Brilliant Uncirculated standard. Reverse inscriptions include THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT, PETER RABBIT, SQUIRREL NUTKIN, MRS. TIGGY-WINKLE, MRS. TITTLEMOUSE, and BEATRIX POTTER 1866 1943. Several cards feature holographic security strips inscribed with CERTIFIED BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED. The obverse of these coins features the fifth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. These coins were issued by the Royal Mint between 2016 and 2018.
Condition report:
All coins appear to be in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, displaying full original mint lustre with no signs of wear or circulation. The protective presentation cards remain intact, though they may show negligible signs of handling.
