This model is a modern re-issue of the iconic 1970s design, characterised by high-rise handlebars and a split-level banana seat with a separate padded backrest. The bicycle is fitted with a chrome sissy bar including decorative springs, chrome-plated metal mudguards, and a rear luggage carrier. It is equipped with front and rear rim brakes and plastic pedals. Visible markings include the word CHOPPER in large yellow letters on the down tube and RALEIGH vertically on the seat tube. The handlebar stem features an embossed R logo. The top tube console displays a decal plate with an R logo and the text CHOPPER MARK III. The rear seat plate features a yellow Raleigh label below a red circular reflector.
Condition report:
The bicycle is in used, original condition. There is visible surface oxidation and pitting on the chrome-plated components, most notably on the rear luggage rack, mudguards, and sissy bar. The black paintwork shows minor age-related scuffs but remains generally bright. The tyres show signs of previous use. Mechanical components, including the brakes and drivetrain, have not been tested for operational safety.
