A vintage coach-built dolls pram by Silver Cross, finished in a pale primrose yellow with fine pink pinstriping to the body. The pram features a folding fabric hood in a matching shade and is supported by a high-sprung chrome-plated chassis. The unit is fitted with four spoked wheels and white rubber tyres. A decorative oval ceramic plaque depicting a primrose or polyanthus floral bouquet is inset into the side of the carriage. The interior is lined with white fabric featuring a repeating star pattern and includes lace-trimmed bedding. The white textured handle grip is inscribed with the Silver Cross name in script, and a black maker’s badge is present on the body. A wire-mesh shopping basket is located beneath the chassis.
Condition report:
The item is in good vintage condition showing signs of light use. There are minor surface scuffs and small chips to the paintwork. The chrome components exhibit light pitting and surface oxidation in places. The fabric hood and interior lining are well-preserved with no visible tears or heavy staining. The rubber tyres show light wear and minor discolouration.
