A 1993 United Kingdom silver proof piedfort one pound coin issued by the Royal Mint. This specimen is a double-thickness piedfort strike produced in sterling silver. The reverse features the Royal Coat of Arms design by Eric Sewell, while the obverse bears the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf. The coin is housed in a protective clear acrylic capsule and presented in its original red Royal Mint display case with the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity.
