A 1999 United Kingdom commemorative five-pound crown issued by the Royal Mint as a memorial to Diana, Princess of Wales. The coin is housed in its original blue card presentation folder which features a photographic portrait of the Princess and a printed quote from HM Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1999. The coin is struck in cupro-nickel. This was a high-volume commemorative issue produced for the general public following the Princess’s death in 1997.
Condition report:
Uncirculated condition as issued. Notable surface toning is visible on the obverse. The original presentation folder is intact and shows minor signs of shelf wear and handling.
