A pendant necklace featuring an organic foliate spray design in the Arts and Crafts revival style. The white metal pendant consists of several cast leaf-shaped elements, two of which are inset with marquise-shaped panels of iridescent material, exhibiting a play of green and blue colour consistent with crystal opal or abalone shell. The pendant is suspended from a fine curb link chain secured by a spring ring clasp. The metal displays natural surface oxidation and tarnish. No maker marks or hallmarks were discernible upon inspection.
Condition report:
The necklace is in good condition overall. There is noticeable natural tarnish to the metal surfaces throughout. The iridescent insets are intact and secure within their settings. The chain and clasp appear to be in good working order.
