A pair of large frost-proof terracotta garden planters manufactured by Yorkshire Flowerpots. Each vessel is of tapered form with a prominent rolled rim. The upper section of each pot features an impressed decorative band containing the text YORKSHIRE FLOWERPOTS interspersed with five-pointed star motifs. These pots were produced by the manufacturer based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, known for utilising local clay to create frost-resistant gardenware.
Condition report:
The planters are in good used condition, displaying characteristic signs of outdoor exposure. There are visible areas of white mineral efflorescence and surface scuffs. One pot has a small chip on the rim. No structural cracks or significant damage are present.
