A trio of vintage brass decorative items in the style of 20th-century Indian export metalware. The set consists of one slender bud vase with a flared rim and a circular footed base, and two small matching footed goblets or stem cups. Each piece is constructed from brass and features dense hand-etched or engraved decoration. The goblets are decorated with a central circular cartouche flanked by foliate and floral scrolls. The vase displays a continuous repeating pattern of stylized leaves and floral elements across its neck and body. There are no maker’s marks or stamps visible on the exterior surfaces.
Condition report:
All three pieces exhibit a significant aged patina with visible surface oxidation throughout. There is widespread tarnish and dark spotting, particularly concentrated around the rim and the body of the vase. The items show signs of age-related wear but appear to be free from major structural damage or significant denting.
