This lot comprises two decorative metalware items featuring mixed copper and brass-toned finishes. The first item is a miniature ewer of baluster form with a polished copper body. It is fitted with a gold-toned flared spout and a stepped circular pedestal base. The handle is cast in the form of a stylised dragon or sea serpent with a textured scale pattern and a scrolled lower terminal. The second item is a shaped gold-toned tray with a flat central basin and flared sides, featuring stippled textured panels at the corners of the base. A miniature Victorian-style street lamp post is attached to the side of the tray, complete with a four-sided lantern and a cross-bar. Both items appear to be constructed from cast base metal with decorative plating or lacquer. No maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are visible.
Condition report:
Both items are in good overall condition and retain a high reflective polish. The tray shows light surface scratches and minor patches of oxidisation to the flat basin, consistent with age and handling. There are no apparent dents or structural failures.
