Included with the set is a vintage ephemera card titled A Wedding Gift, featuring lithographed illustrations of wedding bells and floral sprays. The style and construction are characteristic of early to mid-20th-century British production, frequently associated with manufacturers in Sheffield. No specific maker marks are clearly visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
The set is in vintage condition. There is visible age-related wear to the silver plating, with surface tarnish and spotting present, particularly on the knife blades. The celluloid handles show typical mellowing and slight discoloration consistent with age. The presentation case shows wear to the exterior edges and interior lining.
