This numismatic set features two 1992 United Kingdom silver proof ten pence coins, issued to commemorate the reduction in size of the denomination. The set consists of one large-type and one small-type ten pence piece, both struck in .925 sterling silver. The reverse of each coin depicts the Royal Crest, a crowned lion statant gardant, above the numeral 10. The obverse designs feature the third coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The coins are housed in clear plastic capsules and presented in a blue Royal Mint display case with a black velvet-lined interior and the original certificate of authenticity.
Condition report:
Both coins are in uncirculated proof condition, displaying sharp frosted relief against mirrored fields with a brilliant lustre. No visible signs of toning, spotting, or handling wear are present. The display case and certificate are in excellent condition with minimal signs of handling.
