An anniversary-style mantel clock by Acctim. The clock features a brass-toned metal frame with clear panels, a central carrying handle, and decorative corner finials. The case is supported by four columns on a tiered base. The circular dial comprises a silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals surrounding a gold-toned centre with embossed foliate scroll decoration. It is fitted with dark decorative pierced hands. Below the dial sits a rotating torsion pendulum with four polished brass-toned spheres. The movement is a battery-operated quartz type, with the rear housing embossed Made in Germany.
Condition report:
The item is in good overall condition with some minor surface tarnishing and light oxidation consistent with age, particularly to the base and top plate. The clear panels appear free from cracks or major scratches. The clock is offered as untested for timekeeping and pendulum rotation.
