A trio of brilliant uncirculated two-pound coins issued by the Royal Mint. This collection comprises two 1995 issues commemorating the 50th anniversary of the United Nations and one 1986 issue marking the XIII Commonwealth Games held in Edinburgh. The 1995 coins feature a stylized dove and the UN 50th anniversary logo on the reverse, accompanied by the inscription NATIONS UNITED FOR PEACE and the dates 1945 – 1995. The 1986 coin features the third portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf on the obverse with the denomination TWO POUNDS. Each coin is struck in cupro-nickel and remains housed in its original pictorial presentation card folder.
Condition report:
The coins are in brilliant uncirculated condition, exhibiting bright original mint lustre. The card presentation folders show minor signs of shelf wear, including light creasing to the edges and corners.
