A collection of three decorative objects. The first is a rectangular shellwork-covered box, the exterior surface entirely embellished with an assortment of small bivalve shells and the interior lined with a black velvet-like fabric. The second item is a clear blown glass decanter featuring a bulbous body, a wide cylindrical neck, and a thick flared foot, topped with a large natural cork stopper. The third is a wooden picture frame of rectangular form, decorated in a folk art style with small circular cross-sections of wood branches applied to the face to create a scalloped and layered decorative border. No visible manufacturer’s marks are present on any of the items.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition. The shellwork on the box is largely intact with only minor surface wear consistent with age. The glass decanter is free from visible chips, cracks, or significant scratching. The wooden frame shows typical age-related drying to the applied wood slices but remains structurally sound.
