A large-format hardcover edition containing the collected stories and poems of Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne. The volume is bound in pictorial paper-covered boards with a green cloth-covered spine and features an integrated green ribbon marker. The front cover is decorated with a colourised version of E.H. Shepard’s iconic map of the Hundred Acre Wood, featuring labels for Kangas House, Sandy Pit Where Roo Plays, Rabbits House, Pooh Bear House, and Where the Woozle Wasnt. The title and credits are set within a central dark green panel on the front board. The book is profusely illustrated with Shepard’s classic drawings throughout.
Condition report:
The volume exhibits moderate wear consistent with use. There is visible bumping and rubbing to the corners and the edges of the boards. The pictorial surfaces show some scuffing and minor soiling. A vertical crease or area of lamination lift is present on the central green title panel of the front board. The dust jacket is missing.
