A philatelic collection comprising multiple stamp sheets, miniature sheets, first day covers, and a small album, primarily focused on issues from the United Kingdom and St. Vincent. The collection includes thematic sheets from St. Vincent such as the 1991 Admiral Christopher Columbus map series with 50c denominations and the 1991 Major League Baseball in Stamps series featuring players including Babe Ruth and Ken Griffey Jr. in 60c denominations. Also present are 1981 Royal Wedding commemorative sheets for the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer in denominations of 60c, 1.20 dollars, and 4.00 dollars. Several sheets are overprinted SPECIMEN. British postal history is represented by a large quantity of first day covers, including the 1971 General Post Office Anniversaries issue addressed to Sheffield and the 1967 EFTA commemorative issue postmarked Sheffield 20 FEB. Additional items include an album containing British Machin and commemorative stamps, G.P.O. presentation pack informational inserts, and an Official T.C.C.B. Booklet of 6 Cricket Postage Stamps with an accompanying team photograph.
Condition report:
Mint sheets generally appear to be in unmounted mint condition with original gum, including those with specimen overprints. First day covers show standard circular date stamp cancellations and some minor edge wear or toning to envelopes consistent with age. Centring on modern issues is generally good. The stamp album and loose items show typical signs of handling and storage wear.
